I heard Josh Saunders ( King Cobra JFS) passed away this weekend. I was hit with a wave of shock and sadness and hoped it was just a fake troll from those who would do such things. It turned out to be true. I became aware of Josh in 2018 through a young man that messaged me about him. He suggested I sponsor him. I said we aren’t doing actual sponsorships but we have an affiliate program, and please let him know. Josh was quick to get started and I was happy he was earning money promoting us. He was very kind to me, and as a man in his 50s I wasn’t the target demo for his channel, but I caught it from time to time. I think most of us have felt like a bit of a misfit at some time in our lives, so watching him build audience just being unapologetic about who he was, was very satisfying for me. From time to time I would get messages from people claiming Josh was all these politically incorrect things and I should immediately kick him out of our program. I would always feel like a protective older brother when I told them that if what they were saying was true, he would not have a YouTube channel. The kid stays. This young man loved my products the same way I do. He was always grateful to be an affiliate and I was always flattered that he wanted to be. Awhile back his discount code KINGCOBRA got shared all over the internet and we had to change it. I let him know and sent him a new one. He never responded and I thought he may have been angry. But our mutual friend assured me he just isn’t good at email and other communication. In honor of Josh, I reactivated it, and any sales from now till the end of September that use the KINGCOBRA discount code we are donating 50% to an autism charity in his name. The brighter the flame the shorter the wick. Was in a terrible and abusive relationship for over ten years and was isolated from friends and family and for years listened to cobes. Truly lost a friend today I’m crushed
